White Christmas Outing 2019
On Wednesday 4th December 2019 a party of 14 members and friends set off from Woodbridge to London’s Dominion Theatre to see a matinee performance of Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas”. Among the stars of the show was Danny Mac, a 2016 finalist on Strictly Come Dancing.
It tells the story of some soldiers returning from WW2 to the rapidly changing society in the 1950’s in the USA. The musical includes memorable songs from the period including Happy Holiday, Let Yourself Go, Sisters, Blue Skies, How Deep is the Ocean, I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm and of course White Christmas. https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/show/white-christmas.
The party had a great time and it was a good to enter the Christmas Spirit in early December!
